First night in PGL we had a CAMPFIRE – it was the best!!!!!!!!! Next night, we had STAR AUCTION!!!! We had to dress Jordan Hudson up as Barbie and Louie up as the tooth fairy. Also Rebecca Wright, as Shrek and Katie Thornton as a super hero and last but not least Callam Taylor as Marge Simpson!!!!!! It was so funny. Theeee…. EGG RACE was on the 30th September. Now this wasn’t any ordinary egg race…… IT WAS TO protect your egg! This is what we had to do… we had to do 5 relays for a warm up and then we were given a bag with tissue paper, a plastic cup and a balloon, this was all given to us in a bin bag. After that we had to use these objects to make something that would protect our egg when it was dropped off the balcony!!!! It was amazing – 2 eggs survived including our egg. The next day tragically we had to go home HA HA that was the amazing, fantastic PGL!!!!!!!!!!! While we were having fun doing all that, our other friends who didn’t come to PGL took part in different activities!! They…… on Monday they went to help out in the infants then on Tuesday they went to Rock and River!!!! They did wall climbing, kayaking and leap of faith. On Wednesday they went to the museum AND THAT WAS THE END:( OF OUR ROCK AND PGL RIVER WEEK:) Tayla’s favourite activity was abseiling. This was because she loved the feeling off jumping down the wall like Spiderman. Rhian’s favourite activity was the giant swing. Luckily for Rhian, Mr Hardwick went on it with her. They nearly hit a bird because they went so high, and also got told off for pulling the rope too early on their first go!!! It was Taylas fault!!!! Only joking. If Mr Hardwick hadn’t pulled the rope, Rhian would still be sitting there now!!!!! Check out the pictures on the website later in the week!!! Toodlepip!!!!!
Wow! What great biographies from you all! I really enjoyed reading them! I have to give a special mention to Fiona and Matthew whose work was particularly good and to Holly, well, I don’t think I have ever read such a good biography! Your work left me lost for words – that must be a first!! Keep up the good work, everyone!

Hello everyone! Monday – we went to the CLC centre (city learning centre)! We had a wonderful day! Apart from Sam! He was checking out Deyes High School! 6C started off by getting split up into groups of 16-24! We made our mugs by designing them on PowerPoint then we printed them off on to our bright white mugs! They came out fantastic! Tuesday – we had a maths observation! In the afternoon we watched The Tales of Melling Road, a pupil from 6C performed in it, Ella Stewart – she was great! Wednesday – 6C worked, worked, worked! We did maths problems! But fortunately we got rewarded with having a game of rounders! But we had small teams because some people were at Children’s University. Thursday – we had a visit from a policeman! Talking about e-safety! In the afternoon we had a proper game of cricket! It was better than the Kwik Cricket! Soon after we had samba. Before I forget let’s go over to your Sports editor, Sam Cham! Thanks Dan! The girls’ football team all played outstanding again! But one stood out! Ellie Galvin! Well done, Ellie! Ellie was getting back and tackling! So over to Dan! Thanks Sam! Today – we practised our leavers assembly! We had a nice surprise, we are getting cookies later on! We are getting off to get changed for Sports Day Practice, so we will have to leave it there! Bye, till next week!
We have a new edition to the news’ family! Oliver Clarke! Welcome Oli! So, shall we go on to the news? Yes! Monday -we had Mrs Hardwick. We did our long distance run! 497 metres! Very tiring! But Oliver wasn’t in, he wishes he was in, but if I was him I would have been glad to miss the run! After the long disntance run we did a short relay of the sports day track. Then we done something very unexciting! We did a radio broadcast in English! On to Tuesday! Mr Hardwick taught us! It was very exciting and much better than Miss Clay’s lessons! (joke!) We did rounders, it was amazinnnnnn! So Wednesday – we went to Maghull – apart from Sam C and some other people who are going to other high schools. We all mostly went on the bus. I fell on to David Chan-Bell and Daniel Fidler! Oliver C was in class W7 with tutor Mr Jarvis and mine, Dan C, I am in R7 with Mrs Riley! Thursday – sports news… to Sam. Well the girls’ football, they are all brilliant footballers but one stood out! That girl was… Ella Stewart! Well done, Ella! Over to you Dan! Thanks, Sam! Today – we are doing our leavers’ t-shirts and had to draw our faces in a box! And then we did Spanish! So we will have to go… The 3 of us say good luck to the girls’ football team tonight!!! BYYYYYYYYYYE!!!!!
Hello, world of 6C! Monday – we had the start of the short heatwave…hot hot hot! No clouds in the sky… Personally, I think it was too warm for games but we’re tough! In Maths we did athletics including…100 metres, javelin, speed bounce, long jump and high jump! 100 metres was tiring! Not even just for me! Tuesday! – we finished the games off in the morning! So later on we started the theme books! And if you’re wondering why we didn’t do one for all the other subjects it was because we were too busy! Oh and singing practice… swiftly moving on! Wednesday – we started our tennis tournament and me, Dan C, I beat Mollie! But well done Mollie anyway and Sam C lost as always! Messing! He lost to Matthew – the tennis expert! Thursday! – no sport today (ahhhhh). But let’s look on the the bright side! It was the open day (aswell as the polling) we took the visitors around the school for one last look before we get a new school! Luckily for me, Dan C, I took Miss Clay’s Mum and Dad around. Oh! Not to forget Sam C went with me! Anyway, let’s finish off the day with goodbye! Bye and keep in touch!
